Jack and Casey from Apollo Creative were delighted to be invited to Knaresborough Forest School to help them raise money for the World’s Biggest Macmillan Coffee Morning.

The Macmillan Coffee Morning is a fantastic cause to help raise money for those facing cancer. In 2015 the events, which are held up and down the UK raised a combined total of £25 million. It all started in 1990 with the simple idea of getting people together and donating money for a cup of tea or coffee. That idea has grown exponentially and establishments such as Schools and Hospitals all over the UK regularly hold coffee mornings. To date the Macmillan Coffee Mornings has raised more than £138 million.

Were all on offer throughout the morning which was attended by local busnisses and people as well as parents of pupils of the special needs School. In total the event raised a fantastic £530 for Macmillan.

The pupils and teachers at the school put great effort in to making sure every visitor was catered for. Jack, Casey and all the team at Apollo Creative would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their efforts on putting on a great morning as well as raising lots of money for a worthy charity.
